Animal patchwork
Animal patchwork blocks can be used effectively to teach, if you know how to do it. Some examples are shown here.
1. Animal Patchwork as educational stories
The Fabric of the Nation was organised in July 2003. Over 15,000 patchworks from Singaporeans and migrants from various walks of life, expressing their love for Singapore were submitted in July 2003.  They made up 60 panels and are exhibited at the HDB Hub, Toa Payoh from August 2004.
Sew a patch of love for Singapore by people of all walks of life in July 2003
Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong (GCT) contributed a heart patchwork to the Fabric of The Nation Exhibition.
Frog patchwork of love for Singapore by Lee Hsien Loong
The frog patchwork by PM Lee Hsien Loong (LHL) reminds Singaporeans not to be complacent when they are top dogs.
2. Animal activism & other patchwork involving Singapore

Animal welfare volunteers are dedicated and their patchworks of love remind Singaporeans to take care of the local breds.
This quilt is very interesting as it reminds me of the Pasir Ris Park. The family, friends and the dogs can exercise, smell the salty sea breezes and get to know each other in a sea-fronting park.
